Mister Monkey called for the animals' attention. They gathered 'round, balloons held up high.
He said, "All you need is your imagination, then you'll be ready to fly."

It's so easy, so very, very easy! If I can do it, then anyone can!
Just look in the sky, imagine you can fly, with that big balloon in your hand.

Come flying, come flying, we'll dance on clouds up over the zoo.
Come flying, come flying, and skip off into the blue.

Just imagine all the zoo animals are floating, like balloons up high in the sky.
But down on the ground, they simply stood around, as Mister Monkey sailed by.

The walrus told the zebra, who told the kangaroo,
"There's got to be a secret to holding this balloon!"
But Mister Monkey said, while drifting slowly by, "It isn't any secret how to fly."

T. C. Giraffe said, "I don't have any need of flying. My neck's so long I can see for a mile."

Herbert the Hippo sighed, "There's no mud in the sky," but Mister Monkey replied...
