The chairs at the restaurant ‘round the corner wobbled to and fro!
I took my saw and trimmed the legs, maybe an inch or so.
I’ve had to repeat this several times, and now I must admit,
The chairs are all three inches tall, but still they wobble quite a bit!

I’ll scare it ‘till it works again, here in my Fix-It Shop!
Yes, I can state with confidence, no matter what it’s for,
Once Mister Monkey fixes it—it’s done for ever more!

The zookeeper blundered in one day, then turned white as tofu!
We took him back, and propped him up, right here inside the zoo.
Keeps mumbling, “There’s no such thing!” so we just play along.
We’d like to say that he’s okay, but he’s too dazed, and too far gone!

I specialize in anything with tiny parts and gears .
When threatened by a hammer, you can see them jump with fear.
There’s usually bits left over, so I always recommend,
To bring an extra bag along to take ‘em home again.
