I guess ye heard their favorite word — is just the letter Aarrrgh!

Now, Davey Jones’ Locker be the dreaded letter L,
Where the skeltons of sunken ships an’ the ghosts of pirates dwell.
N is up the crow’s nest, where a pirate scans the sea.
And X is there ta mark the spot where buried treasure be!

They only got ten letters, but it fits a pirate well —
Like fools, they all drop out of school, and never learn ta spell!
I had my fill of pirates, so when first we spotted land,
I flew off to Jamaica, to start my steel drum band.
